Stevie and Tomeeka named their baby girl named Nia! Do you think Stevie is singing, “Isn’t She Lovely?” to little Nia right now? We can’t wait to see pics!
Stevie first confirmed that he and Tomeeka were expecting their second child together during an appearance on The View in November.
The legendary singer was eager to clear the air after a report in Page Six claimed that he was expecting triplets — now that would be a handful!
“I got, how many, 22 kids?” Stevie joked to the ladies, adding, “It’s not true. The truth is we’re going to have a wonderful daughter, born in December, [and her] name is going to be Nia, which is ‘purpose.'”
Stevie’s rep confirms to Us Weekly that Nia’s name means purpose, which is “one of the seven principles of Kwanzaa.” So sweet!
