Parents-to-be Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross Christmas shop at Toys"R"Us in first pics since baby announcement

They announced their happy baby news on Thursday.

And 24 hours later, parents-to-be Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross held hands while Christmas shopping at Toys"R"Us in Van Nuys.

The expecting 30-year-old bundled up in a fur-collared coat, Ramones T-shirt, high-heeled booties, a Chanel purse, and the mommy staple leggings.




For the first time in years, Ashlee ditched her waist-length platinum blonde hair extensions.

Her 26-year-old husband of four months bleached his own hair in solidarity a week ago.

'I would love to [have kids],' the Hunger Games star told Us Weekly last month, 'as many as possible.'





As they emerged from the store, the newlyweds' trolley was full of children's toys including a $70 Dubble Bubble gumball bank.

 As the son of Diana Ross loaded the toys into the boot of his car, wrapping paper and a $14 pink stick horse could be seen.

Later on Friday, Evan shared a video of himself hula hooping, which was likely from the same shopping spree.

And in the morning, the Just Before I Go actor was seen dutifully picking up breakfast from Crave Cafe in Sherman Oaks.
