By now, we’ve all seen the shocking video footage of former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice punching his then fiancée Janay (Palmer) Rice in the face, knocking her unconscious in an elevator earlier this year.
But now, new surveillance video has surfaced. And it’s showing what went down once the cops were called and they were thrown in handcuffs.
In the newly released security-camera video (obtained by ABC News), we see a quite distressed Janay talking with hotel staff at the Revel Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City, N.J. after her NFL baller fiancé knocked her unconscious in an elevator. You can see hotel security quickly move in to keep Ray away from Janay as she breaks down crying while sitting in wheelchair talking to staffers.
Soon, the cops arrive and place both Ray and Janay in handcuffs, then escort them out of the lobby into an elevator. All of a sudden Janay completely switches it up. While inside, she and the NFL running back began to cuddle up against one another...and then they kiss! Sighs….
Initially, they both were charged with assault. Janay’s charges were later dropped, while her husband’s was upgraded to aggravated assault. But after having his day in court (with Janay right by his side), he was entered into a probationary program that will allow his charges to be dismissed after a year. Ray lost his spot on the Ravens and was suspended indefinitely by the NFL. Ray appealed that ruling and won, so he’s currently a free agent, eligible to sign to any NFL team.
