The 41-year-old supermodel had taken her children - Leni, 10, Henry, nine, Johan, eight, and five-year old Lou - to meet Father Christmas at The Grove in Los Angeles.
But the mother-of-four couldn't resist having a go herself, sharing a silly snap on Instagram, joking: 'Santa....I have been naughty !! Heidi....Me too !!'
The animated black-and-white image shows Heidi perched on Santa Claus' lap, with the two holding their cheeks while dropping their jaws.
Heidi's inner child was bound to come out after spending a day with her four youngsters, enjoying the shopping mall's festive sights which included the red and green water show.
Prior to the social media post, the witty Project Runway host and her brood were seen strolling around the centre.
They also took a relaxing break near the fountain to watch the holiday-inspired water works.
There, Heidi was spotted sharing a tender moment with her lookalike daughter Leni.
She appeared Christmas chic for the occasion, donning a festive cream knit sweater which she matched with an oversized scarf.
The German beauty paired her chunky outerwear with skinny jeans and tan booties, still managing to show off her svelte shape.
