Oscar winning actree Lupita Nyong'o is reuniting with her 12 Years A Slave co-star Brad Pitt to produce the indie drama Americanah, an adaptation of feminist author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's novel of the same name. Lupita has the film rights to the novel and is putting it all to good use.
The film tells the story of young Nigerian immigrants who face a lifetime of struggle while their relationship endures. Selma star David Oyelowo, who's winning rave reviews for his portrayal of Dr. Martin Luther King, has been cast to star opposite Lupita. Nice!
